The friction between selves becoming a doorway to intimacy and peace.
Wherever two beings meet, a membrane hums between them: this gate is that membrane. In shadow it turns every difference into conflict, guarding old wounds. As the gift dawns, friction becomes information, and the same sensitivity that fought becomes diplomacy, the art of meeting.
The deeper teaching is that intimacy requires friction, the honest rubbing of self against self. Avoid it and connection stays shallow; enter it consciously and it polishes both people. Beneath every argument is a longing to be at peace, and peace here is earned, embodied, warm.
