The fullness of spirit: freedom discovered inside feeling itself.
This is the gate of spirit, the cup that registers fullness and emptiness. Its shadow is victimization, moods read as evidence of a wronged self. Its gift is freedom: emotion experienced as weather, identity no longer hostage to the sky.
The practice is to stop bargaining with your moods, neither fixing the dark nor clinging to the bright. The cup fills and empties; you are what holds the cup. When this is fully embodied, nothing emotional can imprison you again. The gift and the essence share one name: freedom.
