The corrective eye that heals the past to set the present free.
This gate detects what has been spoiled and aches to correct it. Aimed outward or inward without love, it becomes judgment, the critic that poisons. Rightly held, it is integrity: correction in service of health, the healer's precise eye.
The practice is to trace every fault you perceive back to its origin, usually a pattern absorbed in childhood, and to correct causes rather than blame symptoms. Criticism transformed by care becomes medicine. Its final secret is that reality was never actually broken: perfection includes the flaw.
